Unpacking Emotions | Guest Written by Violeta Zamorano-Scott
I love music. But there isn’t much out there for me. See, I’m asexual. So that eliminates most songs. I am fine listening to them, but they don’t really speak to me. Second, I’m really into mental health. That has not been explored in music that much beyond the classic angsty and vague songs. They also tend to talk about the problem, not the solution. At some point I decided I wanted to change that. Continue reading Unpacking Emotions | Guest Written by Violeta Zamorano-Scott

Disney and Dreams; Covering Sleeping Beauty
Second only to Dumbo (who doesn’t speak at all), Aurora had the least lines of any Disney Movie lead. The princess spoke less than 20 lines in the whole film. As the voice of Princess Aurora, Mary Costa became entwined with the character. Regardless of the lack of lines, when the audience does hear her voice especially for the songs she sings, it’s majestic. Trying to decide which specific song to highlight is almost as difficult as the fairy godmother’s trying to decide whet

Finding Tunes from ‘Finding Nemo’ Cover Songs
Most of the soundtrack is simply musical scores not sung music. The score of the film is beautiful and received a nomination for the 76th Academy Awards for Best Original Score losing against Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. I can’t argue with that choice as it’s a film series I eventually will be covering (Yes, pun intended).
In fact, there are only three lyrical songs in the whole film; Twinkle Twinkle Little Star by Darla played by LuLu Ebeling, “Just Keep Swimm

The Hunchback of Notre Dame; HellFire Cover Songs
This movie and it’s resulting music is rather dark with some seriously real undertones. Thus this article will focus on one of the darker songs. “The song “Hellfire” is considered one of the darkest songs written for a Disney film, and was nearly cut from the film,” quotes the trivia section on IMDB. Disney and Dreams: Tarzan Cover Songs
The man behind the Tarzan soundtrack is Phil Collins. He was the main guy throughout the film arranging, composing and singing the songs. Other musicians that also contributed to the soundtrack include Mark Mancina, Glenn Close, Rosie O’Donnell, and Paul Bogaev. Together, they provided a gorgeous soundtrack with the voice of Phil Collins throughout. Phil Collins brings in some deep and heavy emotions into the lyrics and the movie itself. Jackie Chan And His Music Career
Jakie chan is a musician.
The purpose of the internet is to find new and amazing things, to connect people with ideas. I use the internet to find awesome covers and dig deeper to uncover them (Pun intended). Scrolling through Facebook, I found that Jackie Chan did a Cantonese cover of “I’ll make a man out of you” from Mulan (1998). I know that several celebrities will do cover songs but typically those are musicians specifically. It was interesting so I looked deeper. Continu
