“Messy, honest, and volatile” are three words that describe the upcoming EP by Caroline Romano.

Caroline Romano’s upcoming EP, How The Good Girls Die, is set to release on February 21, 2025. Renowned for her introspective lyrics and raw emotion, Romano has captivated a generation with her authenticity and vulnerability. This six-track EP offers an emotional rollercoaster that explores the complexities of youth, identity, and self-discovery.

“There’s a song on the EP called “How The Good Girls Die,’ which inspired the EP title. I had an idea for a song that served as a sort of cautionary tale to my younger self. It’s a very dramatic way of describing my past experiences navigating life and relationships in my early twenties,” Romano explains in an interview.

At the heart of How The Good Girls Die is the journey of a girl reconciling the expectations placed upon her with her evolving sense of self. The title track delves deeply into losing one’s innocence and recognizing that the person you once were no longer fits the world around you. Romano’s signature blend of honesty, wit, and vulnerability creates a space where listeners can find solace amid their struggles. There’s significant growth in her music. Caroline Romano states, “Both musically and thematically, How The Good Girls Die reflects my growth as a musician and a person. In many ways, it feels like a blend of my last two projects. It still carries the same stream-of-consciousness writing style but with more concise delivery. Overall, I believe it reflects how I’m feeling at 23.”

For fans, How The Good Girls Die signifies a moment of reflection, growth, and acceptance. Romano’s music has consistently mirrored the intricacies of youth, and this EP is no exception. Whether navigating the turbulence of young adulthood or simply seeking a soundtrack for your emotional journey, this EP will resonate profoundly.
